SWOT Analysis of the South Baltic Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 (2013 - 2014) |

As part of a project team led by the Hanseatic Institute for Entrepreneurshop and Regional Development at the University of Rostock (HIE-RO), RRG is involved in a SWOT analysis and socio-economic analysis of the South Baltic Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 as part of a process of a reformulation of the action programme through the South Baltic Programme Committee. Study resulrs are expected to be published beginning of 2014.
Based upon a comprehensive socio-economic analysis accounting for
- Background information (land use, demography, migration etc.)
- Economic area (inter alias economic structure, labour market, innovationen, companies, unemployment)
- Health and social conditions (inter alias education, risk of poverty, leisure and sports, culture and tourism, cooperations and NGOs )
- Environment and Infrastructure (inter alias nature reserves, air and water pollution, waste and waste management, accessibility, road and rail infrastructures, aviation and maritime/sea transport, public transport)
a SWOT analysis will be conducted, as prerequisite for the development of suitable policy measures to be included in the reformulation of the new action programme.
RRG is respomnsible for the analysis of the transport sector and transport infrastructures, as well as for all carographic works.
