Exhibition Urban Planning Helsinki

RRG contributes to the exhibition "Helsinki - A European Metropolis. Visions, Research, Projects". The exhibition at Laituri is opened daily between 22 May and 29 August 2009, dedeicated to explorer possible futures of Helsinki based on Alvar Aalto´s legacy. RRG contributes a number of maps on metropolitan functional areas, derived from earlier works in the framework of the ESPON 1.1.1 project ("The role, specific situation and potentials of urban areas as nodes in a polycentric development").
