Regional Challenges in the Perspective of 2020

The study commisioned by DG Regio of the European Union analysis the impacts of major current global trends, such as globalization, demographic change, climate change, and energy supply, by means of a scenario approach. RRG, together with the project partner Spatial Foresight, is responsible for assessing the impacts of globalization on regional development.
