05/25/2012

Mr. Schürmann was invited as expert to the GIS Talk 2012 conference - the German ESRI User Conference held in Munich - for the workshop on Statistics and Demography to report about his experiences with the implementation with the GeoCensus 2011 project in Kuwait, and to take part in the discussions with the audience about possible improvements of the public statistical system in Germany. Discussion focused about what Germany could learn from experiences abroad, in particular regarding small-scale high-resolution data collection, data provision and data analyses.
