ESPON seminar on transnational cooperation

Dr. Schürmann participated as a speaker and as a panelist in the ESPON seminar on transnational cooperation on October 30, in Berlin. The main objective of this seminar, which was organized by the ESPON Scales project was to identify measures how results of ESPON projects can be better communicated, disseminated and utilized in other INTERREG projects. Based upon latest experiences made in the ESPON BSR-TeMo project, Mr. Schürmann talked about his view on cooperations between ESPON, being a spatial research community, and transnational cooperation areas (in this case, the Baltic Sea Region), which are more policy-driven.
