EUREGIO freight corridor: Workshop on border obstacles in the logistics sector

On 4 July 2016, Mr. Schürmann participated as an expert of TCP International at an workshop on Border obstalces in the logistics sector in the EUREGIO, organized in the framework of the project EUREGIO freight corridor. 25 representatives of companies, business associations and public authorities discussed technical, operational, infrastructural and administrative obstacles to cross-border freight transport. Apart of the identification of these barriers, focus was given to search for solutions and also for potentials arising from the location in an border area, as a first step towards the development of an action program.
