Together with HIE-RO, Rostock, and iservice, Vienna, RRG was commissioned to develop a new version of the Atlas of Industrialisation of the New Federal States. The aim was to update and expand the first Atlas of Industrialisation from 2013 in various dimensions:
- Updating of data and maps on existing thematic fields;
- Expansion of the range of subject areas (new subject areas);
- Creation of a website in addition to the printed atlas;
- Use of modern media (interactive graphics, videos, etc.) within the framework of the website.
In addition to the data review, RRG is responsible for the development of individual thematic fields as well as for the conceptual design of the maps and visualisations.
