Routing freight flows based on RRG GIS Database

The Dutch TRANSUMO project uses the RRG GIS Database to develop an internet application for routing intermodal long-distance freight flows across Europe. RRG provides information on road and rail networks, airports, ferry connections, inland and maritime waterways, freight villages and city locations for the whole of Europe, based on its overall RRG GIS Datababase.
