Presentation Atlas of Industrialization of New German Länder

Yesterday, Iris Gleicke, Official Representative of Federal Government of Germany for the New German Länder, intorduced the Atlas of Intrustrialization of the New German Länder in Berlin. As part of the project team, Carsten Schürmann, participated at the press event, together with project leader Prof. Gerald Braun from Hanseatic Institute for Entrepreneurship and Regional Development at the University of Rostock (HIE-RO).
Mr. Schürmann was responsible for the cartography and layout of the atlas, and additionally contributed with three
stories:
- Where the DAX resides - Lack of headquarters in Eastern Germany
- From Periphery into the Heart of Europe
- Transport and logistics: Gateways and Hubs
